The development of large-capacity batteries and solar panels in the last decade has brought excellent opportunities for energy supply optimisation, especially when combining solar power plants, batteries, and either pump storage or river run-off hydropower plants. We have offered our first combined projects to several factories that were having trouble maintaining a permanent energy supply from the national grid, and more should be realized soon. This is also an appropriate way to operate Island complexes, such as factories, local government buildings etc.
